Husni Khuffash
Husni is an entrepreneur and management professional boasting 17 years of extensive experience leading strategic initiatives across industries including Information Technology, fast-paced businesses, as well as online and social media.
Throughout his career, Husni has focused on analyzing business trends to establish business growth strategies, research market structure and spearheaded strategic initiatives to build businesses from the ground up including efforts on revenues, marketing, sales and regional growth. Starting up his own consultancy firm, leading the efforts for regional start ups and managing Google’s efforts in the UAE and other markets in the MENA region have provided Husni with a wide vision on how to nurture small businesses and the experience to localize and emerge with top companies in the world.
Husni recently acquired the position as the new Country Manager of Microsoft Jordan. His responsibilities include leading Microsoft’s operations in the Kingdom by enduring the company’s contribution to the development of the ICT sector, enhancing its relationships with the Government of Jordan, customers and partner base, in addition to introducing the latest Microsoft innovations to the Kingdom.
Prior to moving to Jordan, Husni took on the role of the CEO of Thoora.com (Rogers Venture) in Canada. He also served as Google’s Regional Business Development Manager for the UAE, Lower Gulf and Levant, responsible for developing and exploring strategic and operational initiatives in the region as well as to provide market expertise to identify growth opportunities for the region.
Prior to that, Husni founded his own enterprise known as CommYOUnity, and before that he worked as the Regional Manager for maktoob.com, the world’s largest Arab web portal (now part of Yahoo). During his time there, Husni played a role in setting up the business model for Maktoob establishing it as the leader within the online advertising industry in the region.
Husni received a BA of Law from Amman University and his Executive MBA from London Business School. Husni serves on the board of int@j.
